We're Back

Actually we've been back. But remember how I decided to vacation in the middle of my finals - yeah, so I went to my last class, turned in one paper, and came down with shingles (yuck). Then Mom and Chip came for the weekend. I am now (at this very moment) taking a break from editing that last paper (which was due yesterday) to give you a preview of our trip to the Cote d'Azur. Oh, how I wish I were still there.

Au Revoir

My final is over, my paper turned in. With the exception of a tiny presentation, a three page paper, and a revision to the big one I just turned in. I have completed my first year of PhD school! So I have a few things left to do next week. But they are all going to have to wait.

Because the bags are packed. The flight is booked. We are on our way to Cannes! Rob's film was accepted into the Cannes Independent Film Festival, NOT THIS one, but we will be there and I think a little star watching will be in order.

So I will be away to the South of France, but there will be some great blog posts when I return.
